Dear friends,
here is another bust I have painted. The size is 1/12 and is sculpted by my friend B. Lukacovic.
I have used acryl, oil, airbrush...well...I usually use a lot of painting techniques :LOL::LOL:
I hope you like this small piece.
Thank you for your time and for your comments.

Cool looking piece! I like how you handled the flesh tones on that very expressive face and the steel of the helmet.

Thank you very much Nicolaos and John for your comments. I appreciate it.

face is very nice. The tunic yellow and the white are very clean and plain...need more shadows and dirty...
Great job anyways (y)

Very nice indeed...just one thing, and apologies as my phone is being awkward about showing your pictures in a size I can see them; properly, the gambeson and arming cap are not painted up as leather are they? They would in reality have almost certainly been linen.

Thank you for your comments.
Debrito: There should have been a heraldry ...I know (y) I might paint it...

You are right Red Five, the bambeson and arming cap are to dark. I have painted this bust just for fun and to find out how to paint yellow and brown. I will paint it correctly next time ;)

M.

You can still have brown linen! One idea would be to add rust stains on the arming cap. Sweaty heads do mess an unlined helmet up!

I still sat your modrl is excellent!

Trouble with me is that I've either made the armour or handled it either replicas or the real thing do I trnd to be a bit picky.

Andrew
