Ian,you are very kind my friend with your coments, however to reach the highest pinnacle BOS at Euro is a very very big ask, every year I see world class pieces at Euro which set the bar really high, you speak about out of this world, well every year I go I see out of this world pieces and this year won't be any different,to receive anything would be a bonus, however i'ver never seen anyone do a group of busts before,so I'm going to be very interested in what sort of reception it getsThats a great peice on it's own but put with the others and it's a master peice. this should win best of show at Euro. if not something out of this world is goint to have to come along and bet it. just my opinion mate but I think others will agree.

It's certainly different mate,as you say that could be the keyBrian their is always a first time for everything. yes I'm in a daze every time I go to Euro at the standard but have to say yours is different and something not seen before that's the key. we shall see I know it's going to be hard but that's part of the fun.

Many thanks again Kev,as I said to brian,I've been taken aback with the kind coments and support I've achieved so far,I'm just wondering what sort of reaction I'll get next year when I do a complete British square ?,ha ha,only joking
Hi Graham, funny you mention cavalry,my next project after Euro is going to be a Cuirassier trioHa, you are committed now, we want to see a British square surrounded by attacking cavalry
Many thanks huw for your kind coments my friend, yes it will definatley be a Cuirassier trio after euroHello Smudger
This is an inceredibly realistic looking piece - it will do well in Euro for sure.
Now the Cusirassier trio sounds intriguing to as I have a Cuirassier obsession nay fetish....
Cheers
Huw

Many thanks my friend for your very kind coments and support for my work,I'm not into pretty parade ground looks for busts and figures but that's just my prefrance,I like my soldiers to have that campaign look about them and I've managed to capture that in this piece thankfully.Well, I see you have gotten the kind of responses from our
Planeteers, that you certainly deserve. You've taken this bust
a lot farther regarding the grit and grime, the blood, et cetera.
And for me that makes this bust so dramatic. . . . Filled with
dramatic tension and aprehension. Just a beautiful rendering
of the period at that time. I'm now reading Bearnard Cornwell's
first venture into straight history. And the book is "Waterloo". So
I'm really into what you have created here. You sir, are quite
an accomplished artist. Congrat. on a really dynamic
presentation. The Miami Jayhawk
Thanks Graham,I had a feeling that was the case but that picture really threw me into a bit of confusion, cheers and thanks for the linkI just found this link Brian. If you scroll down the book page a bit it appears they didn't.
