Planet Figure members,

I recently saw an advert for a 54mm French Canadian soldier by this company. He looked rather interesting and I was contemplating getting him. Does anybody have this figure that can provide me with input - apologies I cannot attach an image as I do not know how - but he was painted wearing a dark blue jacket with green leggings and beadwork on the leggings. He was also holding a rifle in his left hand. The pose was rather casual.

Could anybody provide me with input about the pose/anatomy of the figure (correctness thereto) as well as quality of casting, engineering of kit etc. Also is the kit in metal or resin.

Any input will be appreciated.

Many thanks
Franco ;)

I have the figure but haven't painted him yet. From what I can see, the quality is top notch, the fit is excellent and he'll be fun to paint. Hope this helps

Hi Franco,
I too have this figure as well as the three other French & Iindian War figures that they've released. All are top notch and cast very well. I also like the quality of metal they use, very much like Andrea and Pegaso. I highly reccomend the figure you're considering.
Best!
Ric

I just picked this figure up at MFCA over the weekend. I agree it looks quite nice and I'm looking forward to putting him to the brush. One thing to consider, though, this is a huge, I'm talking WWE or NBA sized 54mm figure. The good news is, all the parts seem in scale with the rest of the figure, but he dwarfs even Pegaso 54mm figures, so you'll only really be able to use him with other La Meridiana figures in a vignette.
