Just in case this isn't seen by Julian I can confirm that it was indeed sculpted by him, a few years before the Native American busts.

Actually...it wasnt sculpted by Julian Lamb!!! His father Ray Lamb sculpted the Samurai for Poste-Militaire,except of course the running Ashigaru which was sculpted by Julian Hullis.

Greetings from Lamb & Flag HQ...

Firstly, thanks to all for the many warm wishes and enthusiastic messages of support.
Ok, down to business.... the kneeling samurai pictured above was my first foray into the world of commercial pattern making. This took place in 1984 under the keen supervision (and great patience) of my Father, Ray Lamb.
The first of the busts, The Pawnee, was released 10 years later in 1994....
For those wishing to know a little more of the history attached to the busts, the Lamb & flag website is now up and running!

I'm new to this community and I'm thrilled!!! I've started with Julian's models. So much to remember... and so much to wait now!!!

Rainy Mountain Charlie arrived yesterday. :D

Great quality casting. So smooth and clean. No blemishes, pit holes or mould seam lines.

The painting instructions and even the tube container it came in were exceptionally good.

I really appreciated the letter signed by Julian thanking me for my custom.

Trust me Julian, I'll be back for more very soon.;)
