Hello

This is a commission piece I’ve been asked to do. I’m converting the Young’s Miniature British Infantryman Somme 1916 which depicts a lance corporal from the Lancashire Fusiliers (one of my local regiments). It is being converted to depict a lance corporal from the Somerset Light Infantry. This involves removing the original divisional patches and making new ones from White metal foil.

The plinth is from Oakwood Studios and I’ve ordered the nameplate from nameitplates.

Thanks for looking

Hi Chezzie

That's better !..lol

That looks really good , like the way the webbing has been finished and the uniform ...well done mate

Is the number anything specific to a soldier

Nice base as well to present on

Thanks for sharing

Cheers gents. The number is one I found on the war graves site. It relates to a L/Cpl E Parker who sadly lost his life on the first day of the Somme and is buried in Gordon Dump Cemetry
