Hi Folks

Thought I’d share this putty pushing.......using a Micks Micks bust .....originally a RIR Adjt ....which I hasten to add is a fine piece of sculpting this would be a uniform of Rifle Green with black facings ....

I liked the look of the 60th Regt with their red facings so after much research and contact with Mick Ankim......I needed to make a few adjustments!...

Remove and replace the cross belt decoration and the headwear badge

I also removed and resculpted the pouch belt

Reworked the sword knot

Changed the hair style

**The detail on the top of the headwear ...difficult to access might try a buildup of paint ......any ideas welcome

Added a chin strap as in references

Here’s some references

Sold down the river for a splash of red.:D
Nice work on the conversion. Just one question. In the Uniform Information you have listed above it states Sword knot Black leather . you have made it into a cord?
Look forward to seeing this in all its new glory.

Really like this one. You've definitely succeded in giving him a "Victorian" feel. It's going to look awesome when finished.

Oda.

Cracking work Kev, I shall have to.get into.the habit of looking at the sculpting board more often. Your attention to research though verges on the obsessive, bloody good job!

Cheers Simon

I guess you've been busy with the doedelzak player, any update on this Kev? Seeing all your sculpting here reminds me I need to get on with my Verlinden Para conversion.

This is now all finished ref sculpting .....once I’ve finished the Kaiser in 85th uniform it will be next so atm it’s sitting patiently waiting ...unprimed

I missed this one (because you hid it over here......;)). Lovely work on the putty, looking forward to seeing this with paint on.

Loving these references, it's a shame you didn't keep that moustache though, that was a peach! Surely you could squeeze in one tiny medal?
Scotty.

Medal looks good Kev. If you were to twist the top toggle button a little similar to the one below ,you may be able to fit another??

Yeah the tash is perfect, delicate but it really looks the part, it's good you squeezed a medal in there. Looking forward to colouring in.
