Hey Guys, Just finished the Saddle, it is still wet, needs to be put in the oven to dry at a warm temperature for at least two days.
After completely dry I will give it more highlights and shadows using the glazing technique.
I hope our horse, which I named Mr. Ed,  will be comfortable with the saddle.
Critique and advice are most welcome.

Cheers.

Roc. :)

Black.
undercoated with black acrylic.
1-Base = Burnt umber+ Windsor blue + Magenta.
2- highlights = Mars yellow + orange.

I used the same formulas for yellowand blue as in my previous step by steps.

Roc-

The blue and gold look great.

A couple of comments / observations...
Sorry but don't know what this part of the saddle is called... the fur part on the top of the seat? May be it's the lighting but maybe it could use some more highlights at the top? Just a tiny bit of Tit white...

But, really nice job. Enjoy "watching" you paint this...

Keith

Beautiful job.

I'm not sure if it's the lighting, the fact it's not dry, or all the specularities, but the fur doesn't look convincing yet. It doesn't have the depth or texture of fur yet. I appreciate it's not finished yet.

Nice job on the gold.

Andy

Keith and Andy, thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

Thanks for the observations, the saddle is not finished yet, I'm waiting for it to dry before I apply more highlights and more shadows.

Cheers.
