My latest . . .

Old Barton kit, supposed to be 90mm but seems to come in closer at 75-80mm.

Done in acrylics except for jerkin, hat and shoes which are oils over acrylics. Not too happy with the face as I feel it is overpainted otherwise happy with the new things I tried.

Please let me have your comments so that I can learn and (hopefully!) improve.

Not sure if its the light but it looks a little glossy are you using a matting agent?

Photographed in natural light. The (red) slashing has a satin look to it. The leather items have a very slight sheen to look like leather. Otherwise everything is matt with no shine.

Also, the shadows and highs on the (white) shirt washed out in the pics.

You don't overpaint it. I would say that you didn't do much on shading and highlighting.
It could be that the pictures are washed out.
