Hi to one and all

Its my pleasure to be able to bring to you one of 3 new releases from Puchala Miniaturen in their range of busts.

The subject is : Princess Victoria -Luise (daughter of the Kaiser)
Scale : 1:10th
Material : Resin
Reference Number : 0018
Sculptor; Ulrich Puchala
Casting: Yanis Sagiadinos


Note the run is limited to 240 pieces , each one coming with an information/reference sheet signed by Ulrich, availablity end June/early July .

Arriving in just 3 days from Germany to the UK this kit comes in a distinctive blue cardboard box with a picture of the subject on the front , the parts are packed in a plastic bag surrounded either by chippings or foam , also included is a reference sheet with painting details .

Victorai -Luise is wearing the uniform as her position of Colonel in Chief of the 2nd Leib -Hassar Regt , XV11 Army Corps.

Below you can see in the first picture that the kit consists of 3 finely sculpted and extremely well cast gray resin parts ,the torso, the head and the base which has been cast in the shape of a Iron cross , a nice distinctive touch , you can see the torso front and rear , wonderful lacework , together with details of the epaulettes , again finely detailed.

Below you can see all around views of the head , a great likeness , with details on the busby being very finely worked , I particularly liked the cap lines , all intertwined together , with of course the deaths head emblem on the front .

Here you can see the parts dry fitted together , minimal work is needed to remove the small casting residue with no visible mould lines whatsover , a credit to the casting process .

Final Thoughts: This is a finely sculpted model by Ulrich and well cast by YS castings ( www.masterpieces.com ) . Great subject matter and well presented . Highly Reccomended .

Many thanks for the preview, not a great fan of the Kaiser and so on but this is very nice and a good challenge.
