Howdy all,

I've finished the subject kit. The kit was well detailed and well cast except for a large offset seam running the length of one side. More time was spent cleaning that seam thanall the seams on the rest of the figure combined. My LaTorre Viking had a similar issue. It's painted with Andrea (and some Vallejo) acrylics. I made it a bit more colorful than the ones I've seen in the past. I also made the circular piece on his chest and back look like old hammered metal rather the leather (I think) it's supposed to be. I also like how the fur turned out.

Cheers,

Glen

Glen,
great stuff man!!!!!! I really like your choice of colors. The red really sets this guy off. The shield is great as well. Your choice of the metal for the circular armor is PERFECT! A great creative departure!

Excellent work Glen. I just picked up the Latorre figures and they are loaded with detail. I like your color choices.

Glad to see you got your browser problem straightened out.

Here ya go... When held in a defensive position, the demarcation between the ochre and brown is vertical. The stylized winged serpent starts at the top and wraps around the bottom to the other side. The serpent was painted freehand.

Cheers,

Glen
