Hi Carl, thanks for your honesty mate, and I agree with you. I've done a series of oil washes over the tunic to deepen the reds and hopefully create smoother transitions. It's also reduced the contrast which helps make it look more realistic. I've also dusted the kilt with talcum powder and added a prussian blue oil wash over the surface to help create a very subtle woolen texture to the kilt.

Hi Ken, thanks for your comments mate. All that's left to do before I move on to the groundwork is paint and attach the scabbard and the straps attaching the scabbard to the white sword belt.
