Hey Gray!

Great Review! Thanks for taking the time to do one. What is your thoughts about the other bust that Latorre did, the 78th Ross-Shire Buffs trooper? I like that bust and will probably order it from you soon :)

Thanks for the review. It's nice to see whats inside the box to get an idea of the qualilty and detail. The majority of my dealings are mailorder, which sometimes are a roll of the dice.

Guy, tell me about it. The package arrives only to find a missing leg or arm, a bad casting or broken part. I try to stick with the Red Lancer for mail order, if somethings wrong Chuck takes care of it right away. Excellent customer service!

You have a big advantage Gray, you are closer to alot of the western guys, especially me. Hope you also set up a retail store as I love wandering thru a store full of figures. Closest I'll get to heaven

Beautiful Article and some of the best flesh painting I have ever seen. The article in French doesn't matter as them Pictures say so much by them selves. Please keep us posted on your work.

my goal is to change your mind about only buying from Red Lancers.

I'm open to that. Do you maintain an on-hand inventory with everything listed in your catalog? Besides the customer service, one of the other reasons I use the Red Lancer is because just about every item is in stock and ready for shipment.

From my experience with Colorado Miniatures, he is just as efficient and service oriented as any other dealer, if not more. I placed an order and accidently ordered a Vallejo Airbrush color instead of a Regular Model Color, and he contacted me asking if it really was the Airbrush one I wanted, which it ofcourse wasnt, and thanks to Gray's heads up we got the order right. Thats great service in my book. Maybe you should try it before being so critical.

Must be the way your reading it since nothing negative was implied in my question or statement. I replied that I was open to buying through other sources and ask if the stock was on hand, a legitimate question in my mind. I have since found and looked at the Colorado site. Information contained within the site answered my question.

The reason I asked about stock on hand is that I’ve dealt with a few mail order places that don’t have much in stock. They order your item(s) from their distributor after receiving your initial order. This usually doubles the arrival time of the order. I’m impatient and prefer not to wait for my toys.

Mission accomplished, my shopping cart already has a few things in it.

From what I’ve seen so far, you beat the Red Lancer on pricing.
