lazer prints fade

Hi , I was just reading on a dols house site looking for 1/16 bits and came accross and article about paper, ink, and printer making 100x differance on the fading of lazer prints say as you may do for a poster on a dio im not sure if this is the fact with decals done that way too? Id put a link but im too thick it was. EARTNTREE.com and it was under longevity of lazer prints, but read it if you were to print decals only to fade out would ruin your day if we live that long, best someboody else read it who knows things of the modern world, cheers mick
