Good morning everyone,

We're very pleased to announce that Fernando Ruiz will be back in Toronto this March for another edition of our Learn to Paint seminars. This time, we will be painting two currently unreleased busts from the Fer Miniatures line.

This seminar is suitable for all skill levels, but keep in mind, we will be working in acrylics. Fernando will cover all sorts of techniques including: using drying retarder, washes, blending, glazes, and more!

The fee for the weekend is $300 CAD, and seats are limited to 14. The two figures are included in the price, and while some paint will be provided, you will want to bring the colours you expect to use.

Keep in mind, seats are very limited, and you must register to secure one!

For more info, and to register, please visit our site - Learn to Paint Busts with Fernando Ruiz

I'm in for this one as well! I was at the one last year and not only did I learn some new techniques but the entertainment value was more than worth the price of admission! I say this with the utmost love and respect... Fernando is absolutely twisted bonkers :wtf: in a good way, of course.

If one of his seminars ever swings through your neck of the woods, do yourself a favour and check it out.

See you in March FeR (y)

It was fantastic!!! FeR is a great teacher while he keeps the session filled with humor. I learned a lot (keep in mind that I have not painted figures before this session) and should Fernando return for a another session, I will be joining for sure.
A big thank you goes to Alex for organizing!!

Had a great time this weekend! FeR puts on a helluva course!!!

Besides laughing my fat ass off through most of it I think I was able to round off some of the rough edges in my painting... I hope it shows over my next few pieces.

Oh and Fernando, if you're gonna use me as the model for any more of your figures or busts I want a royalties for the use of this beautiful face lol
