I just completed this Ron Tunison piece based on the famous cracker box meeting between General Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson where Jackson proposed his flanking movement on General Joe Hooker’s Army Of The Potomac at Chancellorsville Virginia. Jackson would be mortally wounded the next day, 2 May 1863, by his own troops. The sculpt and likenesses are amazing. The piece is very large, maybe slightly smaller than 1/6 scale. A difficult but enjoyable painting project. Painted in artist’s oils over enamels.
