Great job. Love this. Into ancients myself so very interesting subject matter. Actually this might have to go on my to buy list. May I ask what range of metallics you used for the armour?

Hi there

Thanks for the post , it's a great sculpt , I actually built up the beard under neath the cheek pieces and detailed the sword hadle up .

As for metallics ..Reaper and Jo Sonja , washes and stippling but the series by Darkstar are always getting excelkent comments .

Thanks for looking in

Very nice work Kevin.
Saw this at Poole, and my first photo was this bust.
I can certainly confirm it looks even better than the photo indicates.

Cheers,
Andrew

Nap...I must say that paintwork looks super.... and I love the burl base with just enough room to scrimshaw or carve the name in the front corner........just a thought;..my wife thinks I'm too picky.

Hi Guys

BIG THANKS for all the comments

Wayne ...thanks for the suggestion ...I turned it round ...might even change the base .....using he burl the idea was to give an impression of the rough ground at the time ...then the nameplate arrived...

Chris .......it's not good mate I just can't find that word leg or legs in my house dictionary at all ...lol

Thanks to all for lookng in
