Almost finished modelling the farmer and his Horse Plough.

Things like the lead Reins, chains linking the plough and horse will be added later.

Hi Marcus

I am so impressed by the work you've done on creating the plough , very clever , the work on the horse harness looks great , as does the actual animal

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the painting on both tank and figures

Happy bench-time

Thank you as always mate, going to do a little work on the base this evening. :)

Superb work Marcus. I am particularly interested in this as my maternal grandfather was a WW1 tanker. I don't know which unit he was with but I an led to believe he was among the crews who demonstrated the tank to King George V (so the family history ex my late mum goes). I do have a photo of him in his service dress with MGC cap badge and the tank patch just visible on his right arm.
Watching intently:)

I’ve seen images of the Royal family being shown the new wonder weapon, they are on IWM website. Lovely bit of family history.

Amazing skill and determination, you have captivated an audience with your presentation of this project.
Lest We Forget
TERRY
Thank you Terry,

Initially I only had a grainy image of the farmer ploughing near the tank, since starting the project I’ve not only located a full and sharper image Of the same but others, attached some above as an invaluable reference point.

Not only a commentary about war and life going on, but also an observation on current times, where everything is bleak living through this pandemic. One day the sun will shine and life will move one.

learning from history, Lest We Forget.

Hi Marcus

Thanks for the updates , as you say the contrast in the groundwork is striking and really brings the reference pictures to life ....proving from such a terrible conflict a normality of life returns

The battlefield debris continues even to this day to be brought out

A excellent project and particularly poignant at this time when "We never forget"

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to more on this

Happy benchtime

Thank you Kevin, appreciate the kind words and your understanding of the scene, that makes me happy.

I envy those like you that can sculpt and paint with a great finish your own ideas. I like the project, i like the ejecution. I cán not do it, so i hate you  A lot
Thank you, painting is not my strength but with practice and learning from others I have improved to an acceptable level, love modelling ideas that circulate and it’s wonderful to be able to share with a community of likeminded people.
