I'm sure you'll do it. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Cheers

Don't know how you do it Ron, I know you have explained but they just seem to come to life.
As for the Sheep skin looks soft enough to touch.
Great job.

Hi Mick thanx for the kind coments .

It has been somewhere around 25 years since I painted a sheepskin  the last time was on the Poste Militaire mounted Dragoon by Ray lamb :D
I have included an update pic here as I was not happy with the contrast between the wolves toothing and the fleece , so a little darker lining was added.
Also some more shading with a mixture of Titanium white and Lamp Black which gave me a nice grey with a slightly mauve tint .
The digi camera has blasted a lot of this extra work out ; so the contrast is a bit more than you can see in the pic

The Ray Lamb mounted figure was a stunner back then and still is, never managed to get my hands on one though.:(

Ron this horse is a beauty and so is the groundwork.
I really like the tones around the mouth and nostrils.

I can't wait to see the rider...but I shall have to.

Paul.
