Hi Jimbo,

Brilliant work, loving lofty as well. Look forward to seeing them both with the legs.
In regards to the shirt, I gravitated towards a picture I had of Williams in the green shirt and I was also going with the smaller style beret as the main reference. I ended up changing it in the last minute with the parade style one, which is sitting higher but kept the shirt.
In regards to Lofty, I still need to get confident in the making of P.E to use to as glasses and supply in the kits. Currently hasn't been working out, hopefully when time allows I'll have another go. Once again fantastic work and imagination.

Best Regards,
Chris.

Many thanks Chris...none of this would have been possible without your superb sculpting of Windsor Davies, I thought he looked fine with the green shirt, which he was wearing in some episodes, I just decided to change as I wanted to build the lowering of the flag scene, which leaves me in stitches every time I watch it
All the best

Hi Jimbo

You can't resist can you ....legs ! ....still at Ieastleast one will be short legs !

The pairing will really suit full figures ...can't wait to see Loftys shorts !

Happy sculpting

You know me Kev..always been bit of a leg man! :sneaky:
I'm waiting for two pairs of ammo boots with gaiters to arrive from Steve Reedee, he's a star, sculpting them himself and casted some up and very kindly offered me the two pairs, once I've got them attached to the two figures I'll post some pics, and yeah Lofty's shorts will be " a bit on the large side" shall we say(y)
Cheers
Jim

Bit of an update on these two characters, had a bit of help from Steve Reedee who kindly supplied me with two pairs of boots & gaiters from his own self-sculpted castings, thanks Steve.... you is a star lovely boy!
As you can see I still have a way to go with them both, but slowly getting there I think, got to leave sculpting putty to set for a bit now before proceeding(y)
Cheers

Coming on nicely Jim .....think Lofty will need to be a little more rotund at the waistline !
Going to be real fun piece to see what done and definately a talimg point

Happy sculpting

Thanks Kev, (y) looking at Lofty (Don Estelle) on you-tube he's actually not that "rotund" although I still have the back of his shirt to add to yet so that will make him a b it more fuller in the torso.
Cheers
Jim

Thanks Kev, they've had the grey primer treatment now...onto the undercoating very soon(y)

Keep us all posted with pics ......probably be finished in a week if the speed you did the leggy additions

Forgot to say those glasses look good ...you put lens in as well ..nice

Happy basecoating
