Kev
So you should be pleased, I have always liked work........as you know but these last two busts are, IMHO, your best yet.
Regarding the blood letting; personally I know that there would be floods but for my input less is more.
Staying tuned commenced.
Keith
ps As for the wing nut think nothing of it, I have a trained eye to pick up such things.

all the best
Keith

Hi Keith

Thanks for the comments glad that you like work ! ...lol

Everyone is a leaning curve mate ..especially for me ...would like to paint up the Lassen bust as well as soon as I get it ...got a few ideas!

Ref blood I tend to agree less is more not going for the soaked sleeve look as in the original artwork but more of a Jose Brito version esoecially with the sword itself ....wait and see ! ...

..all I know is it will be a heart in mouth session at the bench !..lol

So glad your trained eye was in action ...I would have missed that ! ,

Cheers and all the best

I am sure that it is all in hand Kev, or in head at least.
It may be an old cliche but I have seen your skills get nicely honed at an equal and opposite pace to mine deteriorating.
Good health

Hi Guys

A small update with iPad pics , not getting much done as Mrs Nap is unwell so the Nursey outfits out!

Finished the sword handle both sides as well as the Tsuba ( the guard ) in NMM and the sword knot in leather , also done the watch ...including adding a smaller ( seconds) dial under the hands on the watch face

One of the reference used is shown

Off to administer fuss and medicines !

Thanks for looking in
