Knight Models, Star Wars, KST016

  • Sculpted by Raul Garcia Latorre
  • Painted boxart by J.M.Palomares
  • Material:* white metal with plastic base
  • 70mm white metal; actual height 72mm (from base to top of head not including base supplied)
  • No. of pieces: 6 including plastic base

This kit is part of a whole series of Star Wars figures released by Knight Models, all of which are a limited edition of 500 units, individually numbered. They come in a branded tin box with the boxart image on the back. The kit itself is sandwiched between two foam blocks and comes with a plastic base with Star Wars printed on the front. There is no other reference supplied with the figure other than an image on the back of the card with the number of the unit.

The kit consists of the main body, two arms one with light sabre and a pistol in its holster. The fit of the arms to the main body is by a plug and socket system and fits very neatly into place while the holstered pistol is simply glued neatly to the side of the body, while the feet fit well into the metal base.

The quality of the casting is good, with crisp, clean and sharp detail throughout and has very minor clean up required. There is a single mould line running down one side of the figure as shown in the bottom image. However this does not present a significant problem and should be easy to remove. The figure stands at around 72mm from the base of the foot to top of head.
