Wow, this is truly a weird photo my friend, a Modern Marine with the most mass produced weapons of WWII, sadly I'm not a sculper, this is a nice project.

I hope the Marine keep it¡

Cool pics Chris! This looks like it could be a simple, yet cool, conversion. I've got Dragon's newer Marines and some PPSHs, add a Hornet head and Tamiya helmet, and there we go. I'll have to try it now.

Hi Chris, The Nicaraguan Army is now the smalles of all Central America, when the new democratic goverment of Violeta Chamorro won the elections in 1990, we have the biggest army with 500,000 all with the best Soviet equipment, the same with the vehicles,

t-60,t-72,
Soviet BMP-1 Armored Infantry Fighting Vehicles,
Soviet ZIS-3 76mm Towed Artillery,
MULTIPLE ROCKET LAUNCHER 175
SURFACE-TO-AIR MISSILE,(SA-7)

If you would like to see something special, let me know, I have some friends in the Army so they can let me take some photos

I thought I read wrong, marine with PPSH, in Iraq? Couldn't be.... But lo and behold! I thought it was amazing enough that MP38/40s were used in 'Nam but wow, talk about a long service time

I guess that huge mag still has a lot to be said for it in CQB.

Glad to help, Chris...Don't forget that book that Larry gave to you, too. Its an awesome reference.

All the best

Yup, those were the photos I was referring to in a previous thread.

What a neat figure that would make.

I was reading somewhere though, that those photos might be staged, since the PPSh fires from the open bolt position...and this ones' bolt is closed.

One of the reasons that you see so many pictures of Marines in Fallujah, with captured weapons.....is that such huge stockpiles were captured. Weapons.....and in large quantities... were literally everywhere. A USMC spokesman mentioned that over 80,000 (!!!!!) small arms were captured there. He noted, that it was enough to arm every Marine in the USMC.

I've seen some cool pics of US Marines with Draganov sniper rifles also.
