Thanks Bob, it wasn't a problem, P&R had 6 cars in it, I was the only one on the bus apart from the driver of course, and not many a the hospital, but this wasn't the main bedded ward one in Exeter, op all done, no pain so fingers crossed the results are OK as with previous ones.
Back to some painting now.

Progress today,
Pearl medium added to the Ivory and Azure paints to give a more silk finish to the tunic and the turban.
Citadel Earth wash over the Green Ochre to show up the detail before the Old Gold paint is applied.
Neck aching a bit where I had the surgery yesterday so off for a read and a rest, catch you tomorrow.

Looking good now ...glad I have ordered one from El Greco
The details are really nice on this but the flesh colour really works well
What make of paint are the green ochre and Pearl ?
Is there a piece to go on top the turban ?

It will be interesting to see what you do with him, ie medals, etc.
Green Ochre is Vallejo MC914 and the pearl is Docrafts Artiste acrylic Pearl Medium, this can be found in craft shops and The Range.
Yes there is a piece to go on top but it looks a bit fragile and I have one from another model spare which I have changed the stem to wire so I shall use that, but that will be the last thing I paint and fit.

I'm really pleased with the end result, the plume thingy on top of the pom-pom came from my spares box as I didn't like the one supplied.

Next one will be the 1/6th Probyns Horse Officer from Stu at Stormtrooper, before the WW2 Pilot comes from Gordon.
