Marcel,

Thanks for the compliment! I will be working on the Major tomorrow.
I will also attempt to use acrylics on the his uniform, which will be a first for me. I will try to use Danilo methods and hope for the best.

Hi Rocky

This is coming on a real treat mate, such a transformation now you have laid the shadows and highlights, keep up the good work, this is going to look great.

Many thanks Tommi!
A little more progress but still a long way to go. The epaulets are a bit too yellow for my liking and any suggetions would be appreciated.

The piece is looking better everytime Rocky. For the yellows I would add brown for the shadows to get a softer color.

Looking good Rocky! Marcel's suggestion of a dark brow wash is right on the money IMO. I would start with very thin applications and work up til you have what you want. Keep it up!

Marc, Marcel, Jay and Chris,

Thanks for the praise. I think i am finally beginning to "breakthrough" on this piece. I am developing my style, which is because of all the help from PF Members and their advice.
For the brown, would you suggest an oil wash?
TIA,

Rocky
