Hi Ben. Thanks for the comments. Uniform references wise I’m following the painting guide supplied by Mick with the kit but also referring to the Fosten book “The Thin Red Line” uniforms of the British Army 1751-1914, W Y Carmen’s Uniforms of the British Army (Infantry), The Irish Regiments 1683-1999 by R G Harris and Michael Barthorp’s BRITISH infantry Uniforms since 1660. Hope this helps.

A couple of updated pictures-made a start on the tunic (oils still drying) and a little bit of detailing on the cap badge and lace. I’m just trying to work out what colour the strip should be between the two rows of cuff lace - should it be red or should it be facing colour ie: blue? Anyone any ideas? I’ve had a look on the internet and in the books and come up with the following references hence the confusion.

Some update pictures re this bust. Getting near to finishing this one. Still a bit more work to do on the braid and the sword is just in a base of Darkstar’s Baroque at present with no shading/highlighting done as yet. Medal ribbons need finishing off but loving the look of this sculpt.
