Hi Folks, been with Planet awhile but this is my first posting, general comments will be most welcome.

You have a very nice sense of highlights, it's something different from the usual shadowing/contrast used on figures, it seems more an illustrator style, very nice, I like it a lot.
By the way, to show the pics you must add the [/IMG] tag at the end of the link.

Steve,
very nice work. Your colors are fantastic, your highlights, as Luca mentioned, are also very nice. Keep up the good work and keep posting. Would love to see more!

Welcome aboard!

Hi

having seen this fella in real life, the photo doesn't do justice to the blending.

Its a corker and if I remember right got best in Show at one of our regional shows.

Robin

Thanks for the comments guys, I was trying to get the photo up but for some reason have failed to do so can anyone give me some pointers.

Cheers Steve Walks

Steve, once you have the link for the pic, in the message text you must enclose it within the img tags, like this:

Code:
[IMG]http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h256/stevewalks/EgyptianMarmaluke1780-1800.jpg[/IMG]

also, you must specify (always) the http:// prefix in the front of the link, or the software running the forum will not understand the url.

I tried adding the image to one of my posts seems I am not allowed to use the img tag on this board

Used another means :)

Seems Luca had the same idea, though it also seems he can use the img tag whereas I can't maybe the mods can answer teh question why one member can and one can't.

Oh and its not me , I had the same string in the tag as Luca did.

Hi Robin, I just added the http:// prefix to the url, without it the software board seems to get confused.

The http is the main element left out.

Steven ~ I love your figure.......excellent colors and blending. What figure is this? Hope we see more of your work.

Thanks for the advice Luca, I'll do that on the next one. Again thanks for all the comments guys.

Just in case some of you missed it first time because of my bad posting here it is again.

Steven - thats awesome. Nice color selection. One wrinkly dude, but excellent painting. I'm also curious, who makes this and what scale?

Hello mate

You made it then?

This is excellent - as I expected. It's the Fort Duquesne one, I think - now out of production. Your choice of colours is very nice - no too garish

Now you have mastered the picture posting, let's see some of that other astounding stuff you've got back there

Cheers and regards

Phil
