Finished this awesome bust from Alexandros Models. As usual painted with oils. Base is from Ron Tamburinni also know as Grange Hardwood bases.


Any comment good or bad is welcome.

Looks good Marc, especially like the way you've painted the coat, but as a personal opinion, I think the eyes might be better painted looking in the other direction?

Smashing job on what as Brian says is a very challenging bust.
The only small observation I have is you could consider deepening the shadow/shading inside the cuff of the right sleeve.
IMO as it stands it just seems a bit bright and draws the eye away from the rest of the figure.
Must look very impressive on display
