Hi guys !
I promised Artur M that I'd do a quick review of his company's excellent animal sets, so here goes . In my personal opinion, they are the VERY BEST animal accessory sets that are available in the market at the moment. Each set comes with at least 9 different animals(set 4 has 10 if you count the baby monkey) in very realistic and imaginative poses that will fit any scene that you can think of in your modelling projects. All are finely cast in light grey resin and have very fine details included. In fact, Artur has tried to improve on the "reality" of the animals with each set that he has released and I can honestly say that the lastest set 4 is his best to date ! (I own a copy of all 4 sets by the way.) Each "animal" has only a small pour block to cut off and mould lines are kept to a bare minimum, if at all. As an example, I've included images of my latest figure sculpt to show a possible use of some of the "animals". As always, I'll let the accompanying images to the "talking" . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Cheers !
Kenneth.
The first set of images are the models from Animal Set 3, plus my scratch-built WW1 German pigeon handler. The grey pigeon on the figure's left shoulder is the one from the Mantis Miniatures set. The yellow coloured "bird" is a resin pigeon from Raymond O. Lantz, a good friend and fellow "planeteer". The "Mantis Miniatures" bird is representative of a young pigeon in this instance, hence the size difference.
