Hello, John.
Your work is amazing.
The skin tone is wonderful.
And the design is very beautiful.
A wonderful masterpiece.

Many thanks to all

Many thanks to all for the very kind words on my Maori bust,so glad you like the end result.I must say I really enjoyed sculpting him and painting him.The research on Hori Kingi Te Anaua was just as enjoyable and interesting too.

Kind regards to all John:):):)

Wow!
Bloody mahvelous....superb tatus...I was wondering: are they raised somewhat fron the surface of the skin?
When Maoris actually do it, does it leave the design slightly raised like scarification?

I have to say it is Superb even I don't know him.
Nice painting~! John

Hello, Andy,Marcel,Phil,Victor and William. Thanks for you compliments on my Maori bust.Phil, the Moko (tattoos) are painted on free hand and I have used highlights and shadow to give the illusion of being slightly raised, as they were traditionally done.

Regards,John:)

Is it 3-D painting now? The rest of us sculptors can throw away our tools...:) Fantastic painting then!
