I finally got my new camera (thanks Julie) so played around with it a bit. I'm sure I have not seen the full potential this camera has but I'm happy with it. I hope to finish this figure by Sunday.

These photos show the epaulets and chevrons, the chevrons were a bit of a chore to do, especially on the right arm.

Quang, Thanks my friend. It's an Olympus Camedia c-4000 Zoom. I found it by searching for reviews on digital cameras with the best macro capabilities. It even ranked higher than some of the Nikons chosen. I like it and know little of it's workings, which will come with time.~Gary

Bob, thanks, I was able to resubmit the photos so they are larger. I'll get used to this new gizmo yet.

Gary,
Wow...exquisite detail...you amaze me.
Is this already been offered for commercial manufactoring? If so, when; I gotta get this piece! (y)
All the best

Patrick

Wow! thanks for all the kind words and encouragement, it has really helped me to muster the energy I need to finish him off, I almost feel that I've run a marathon of sorts.~Gary

Alan, Thanks for the kind words. he's 120mm and is slated for production pending acceptance from the manufacturer ( though I should'nt have I think I've already mentioned who it is...Michael Roberts Ltd.), anyway it's been a time consuming project (mainly because I'm slow). By the way, I enjoy your work, welcome to FP. Thank you again~Gary
