Right...should have known better .... eh ? It tasted like it had been made in Vladivostok about six months previously.
I'll stick with the croissants and cappuccino (without Marmite).

Not American, though-the bagel originated in Vienna, and it was really more of a Yiddish delicacy, before it entered the mainstream. And if you had one in Philly, a New Yorker would say, "Fegh! You can't get a good bagel down there!"
