Rooster looks great Brian.Just curious...When you say finished in oils do you mean washes and shading?I noticed you started the vest sand colored and ended up more brown.

Hi Wayne,thanks for your coments,I don't use washes when I shade,it's all paintwork wet on wet mate (y)
 
Lovely muted colors and patina from the oils. Still not wild about "legless" busts but this is Wayne and have to admit he looks great.
 
Brilliant work Brian. I've got him in my grey army and after this I'm not sure whether I'm inspired to touch him or too scared as your work is absolutely stunnigly marvellous...
