Sometimes it is hard (for me!) to understand the marketing strategy of some companies - like in this case...:

The new "Mary Read" is the second one of "Scale 75". In February 2016 they launched their first "Mary Read" - even in the same scale and avaiable for the same price under No. SCH-009...:






But I do not have to understand everything ...

Yes.
I think the first one was Metal and they redid it for Resin. Probably the molds were old and hence a new figure. I think they plan on doing all the old metal ones in Resin.

To answer comments, the figure is in the steampunk vein rather than the historical vein. I like it though.
