Are the alternative heads in the pipeline? Great figure BTW!

Thanks for the comments folks. I have a Royal Green Jackets variation which should be ready next week. I know there are a lot of units which were deployed during this period but as I recall the RGJ always seemed to be in the thick of it. A Royal Marine would probably be the next option. Parachute Regiment would be a problem as their jackets were different to standard issue.
Cheers

Good choice with the RGJ Gordon .....I seem to remember the nickname falling plate (with some derision by other regiments) with regards to them was in the TA RGJ myself in the 70's

Hello Folks
Some pics of 4 x presentation figures for ex RRF soldiers who served in the 70's and 80's in Ulster.
Cheers
Gordon

Gordon, your no slouch when it comes to the paint brushes. Well done mate this looks fantastic.

Hope you have him in the flesh at Euro. Looking forward to seeing the RM version.

Peter.

Hello Gordon great to see youre work. Funny in Overloon we talked about getting started again and you also did not paint for long time. Well now both picked up the brushes :) But i stay with Napoleonic period ;)
But a great finish and hope to see this one somewhere with my own eyes.

Hi Gordon

My apologies for not responding sooner to your initial comment. Thanks mate.

As for the piece, I can tell that it's been a labour of love and you've put your heart and soul into it. It really shows in the attention to detail. 1/6th is a brutal scale to work as a painter. All your flaws are clearly visible. But it's also the best scale for capturing all the precise details of a face and a uniform. Congrats mate and well done.
