Nice character piece, he's got a proper "gentleman warrior" look about him, the look of a bloke with a double-barreled name who always leads gallantly from the front. I think he'll be popular.

I got my copy a week or two ago, my, it's a big lump o' resin..
As a nice change, only one big piece, and one separate piece (the chin strap for the helmet), and all flawlessly cast. There is a little clean up at the bottom of the bust, but no seam lines and no multiple pour plugs to remove. Take out of box, wash, primer, and let the paint flinging commence.
There is one thing I think nitpick....purists...obsessive... the more discerning may want to address, and that is the lack of undercut/definition under the rim of the helmet. Not something that couldn't be solved with black paint, but I think I'll get the dremel out, to add some more definition.
Did I mention that in my opinion, at £35, this is good value?

Now then, I've started on this, I used the dremel to create a bit of an undercut, and whilst painting noticed something, and cant believe I didn't notice this before...
The Sten Gun bandolier carrystrap, which goes up under his collar, does not continue on the back... it will have to be added with milliput or such.
Pictures later.

Pictures. I've blocked all the colours in during a two day works induction over zoom, next step adding the errant strap, tidying up and washes. .

Be great if you could possibly do a separate SBS in V Bench on yours ?

I am tempted by this

I will Kev, I just wanted to add a picture to show what I pointed out, to keep it relevant to the original thread.

Despite the small issues I've pointed out, I do recommend this bust, you'll enjoy it Kev. Right up your street, a nice bit of fettling, and a great canvas for your painting skills ;).
