Hi Nap,

happy that you guys like the result. I went really simple with the uniform. AK Waffen green is one of my go to when it comes to green midtone, I mixed in some AK black for the shadows (glazed black into folds and onto parts that are in the deepest shadow range which almost appear as black in real life), and highlighted with Vallejo Scorpy Green mixed into the AK green. After sketching I created mixes between the highlight and shadow colors and went over the transitions with stippling method to achieve better blends.

The green works a lot better than I expected on the black undercoat. I can see the finished figure will be something really special.

First pass on the lacing is done, needs some some cleanups and blending but overall I think it looks okay.

Looking really fine. Lace is a tricky one if he is a trooper then the lace will tend to be duller and not have the extreme highlights that gold would have, IMO.

Thanks, still thinking on one more highlight as he is an NCO. Base of the color is a warm brown mixed from waffen green and burnt red. This was gradually highlighted with yellow ocher by AK and the final highlight was done by mixing Kimera yellow to the pure Yellow Ochre.
