I have Maori ancestry myself (no close relatives in the Maori Battalion, so far as know, though), so it's always nice to see something commemorating that part of NZ's history :)

Hi Fet,

Our history may be shallow compared with European & Asian timelines, but it is still rich.
Especially the contribution of our Maori ancestors.
Pleased this helps in a small way to recognise this.
My next project will represent them in WW1.

i look at peoples models and think i will try to copy certain paint finishes, but when i see a model like yours, i realise i have a long way to go, inspirational. well done, it makes me want to get to the same level, love it/badger

Hey Badger thanks so much mate & glad you feel he inspires you.
Personally I feel still got lots of learning to do so keep practicing each day.
Been working on lots of little guys & hanging out for a crack at another big fellow.
Though will stick to busts for now.

Keep going for it mate, our only limitation is in our head :)
