Wow, what's there not to like! He has that gaunt, blurry eyed look from spending a lot of time in the bush. Love the shape and angle of wear of his hat. He's coming around nicely Mike, can't wait to see him finished !

Good to hear from you again Joe. Ref blurry eyed look - that's it mate! I've added some clear yellow to these, hoping to represent jaundice as these guys were in an living hell from all accounts. Hat is exactly as Andy sculpted, really nice sit with this. I added a little hair on the side when I filled joint.

Early morning here in NZ best get back & lay down a few more brushstrokes before heading off to work.
