Charlie continues to unfold.
Progress since returning to this project over the last week.

More or less finished his front.
Unless you or someone spots some necessary corrections ;-)

Thoughts always welcome though.

Happy 2015 to every Planeteer from a sunny downunder :)

Thanks & good call Steve, exactly what I wanted to hear :)
More work required, I'm right on it!

This is an epic project with an insane level of detail and unbelievable degree of realism.
My only suggestion is to look at making the brass work a little brighter, especially where the brass would be rubbed frequently.
It's only a minor point as frankly I think it's as close to perfect.

Hi Tony,

Thanks mate! Always value your comments.
Good point on brass. I do tend to keep this quite dull to avoid parade yard look.
Though can see point of showing wear & rubbing in use too.
Have to see how I go on this.
Dome brass buttons for pistol, gasmask haversack & ammo pouch are all brighter than webbing in reality.
Used a little Jo Sonja Pearl White mixed with Vallejo Brass & Sepia wash to show this, plus glazed with Satin.
Will have a crack now with some more of this.

Stay safe & may 2015 bring more of your wonderful projects to life.

Mike

Geez!

Mike you don't skimp over anything.

Every portion, every segment, every detail gets an equal share of meticulous attention towards realism. Gosh a mighty what a lovely looking piece, and it ain't even done yet!

Jo Sonja Pear White huh? I'm saving that one!
