Started the US Para from Mitches.

As ever, trying for the tired look of combat.

Used Iraqi sand as the base colour then the usual preshade colours then oils over the acrylics.
I tried blue eyes to start with but they looked terrible so used browns for the first time.
Also added purple to the white for highlights for first time and used purple for the inner eye sockets.

Still needs more eyebrow work.



 
Nice to see something else than blue eyes. They look very realistic!
Nice job on the oils. Keep the changes in method, I'd say!

Very nice Grant definitely got the "1,000 yard" stare look about him looking forward to the rest mate, good job

Grant, your method with the eyes works a treat. The eyes are stunning.
Well done, BTW the rest of the face loks very good as well!!!
