Absolutely superb, especially the option of a 200mm figure. Did they have hobnails in their shoes in Wellington's army?

Brilliant and the engraved details for the drum etc. will be most welcome by us mere painting mortals! Fabulous release Tommi and I hope it does well mate.

Hi Mike
"The shoes and boots of the period were made on straight lasts and it was intended that they were worn on the opposite foot each day, a practice generally ignored by the other ranks. The heels were low, the toes rounded and they were often fitted with large nails, punched flat on the soles"
Ref; British Napoleonic Uniforms, revised edition, CE Franklin pp. 123

Nice one Tommi, I really like it, lots of detail, a real treat for us modelers.

This will make a great Bust.
Date it late 1812 and with a bit of poetic license, He could be wearing a white tunic with red facings, having been issued his New Shako but wearing his old tunic, or keeping him for Waterloo but its a Red tunic & facings.
Mike.
