The MMSI Meets THIS Friday, Sept. 7, and Don't Forget to Make Your Reservations for the Chicago Show Now!
On tap this Friday when the MMSI meets at Oakton Community College in Desplaines: our own master modeler Dan Tisoncik discusses techniques for making water, snow, and ice! Bring your frosty, wet figures, vignettes, and dioramas to compare!
And don't forget: The CHICAGO SHOW takes place Oct. 19-21. Visit us on the Web for the link to book your room at the Marriott Schaumburg and complete your online registration in advance to beat the crowd at the door.

Greg DiFranco will present the first free seminar on Saturday, painting flats, and Dave Youngquist will talk about groundwork at the second free seminar of the day. The full schedule for Show Weekend can be found on our web site along with info on Friday's special workshop with Bill Ottinger on Historex horses (much more info on our web page, and advance registration is required). Info on reserving tickets for the MMSI dinner will follow soon. Meanwhile, keep painting, and we look forward to seeing you Oct. 19 to 21!
Have questions about room nights (Thursday and Sunday filled up early this year!) or looking to volunteer a few hours during the show? Contact show chair Pat Vess at [email protected] to give us your time and straighten out any problems with reservations.
Keep painting, and see you soon!
