I'm a head Administrator on two very big, high membership count international forums, and have been on the staff of quite a few others. Moderation is essential to maintain peace and order, and make the forum a pleasure to participate in, rather than a pain. Some will inevitably get their feathers in a ruffle along the way no matter what is done or said to facilitate that.

This has to be one of the least heavily handed moderation teams I've seen, with seamless execution of their responsibilities. You guys have a hard job, and get a full tip of the hat "thank you" for a job very well done from me.
