modern figure kits

I have several boxes of modern soldiers such as Trumpeter,Tamiya . Can i convert them to be futuristic soldiers ?

They can be converted to anything you like, the only restriction is your imagination.

Seeing as we don't know what future soldiers will look like... nothing you might do can be 'wrong'.
In other words, go to town with them!

i am doing because i have noticed that a lot figures are being done in a smaller scale that can be done in either 1/35 or 1/32 scale that is why and anyway i have too many figures in my apartment so i am going to use them for this.
