The heck with accuracy....doubt all the heraldry was recorded....so here's one that got away and its a beaut!!

Yes, I always wonder why some people (we call them rivet-counters in AFV & aircraft modelling) seem to think that we have a complete historical record of every colour scheme, uniform, piece of hardware etc. that ever was, and on the basis of that rather silly belief throw their hands up in horror and protest "But You Can't Do That!!!" - often with not a little pomposity and self-righteousness.

You probably wouldn't paint a Tiger tank sky-blue pink with vermillion spots or (unless you're doing a "Guns Of The South" sci-fi scenario) arm an ACW Confederate infantryman with an AK-47. But in my book if it's conceivable, it's do-able.
