Hello Daniel, a friend told me that you were painting this figure and I have been looking in with interest ever since. Now I have joined up I can actually get in touch. My reason for being particularly interested in this figure is that I sculpted it for united empire. The work I am doing now is mostly in 90mm. I hope you are enjoying it and I think it is looking good.
Best wishes Garyhiggins

Hello Gary and thank you for your kind words.
To me it's an honor having you here, i like the figure and details very much, a really fine work all around.
I have been working very little lately cause i moved to a new house and still getting my bearings and getting organized.
I just need to finish his sword and minor details and i will post the finished pics.
All the best and welcome to this excellent forum!

Working on some of the details for the sword now.....

What !! ......

HOW!! did I miss this thread ?

I didn't remember this ( hence my post on FB ..LOL )........the last post before today was 2013 ....has this been hiding on the battlefield !

Looks great Daniel love the colours and again the details look spot on and it's as Oda say different to your "normal" scale but what a fine result .......

Thanks for sharing

Nice figure. France during the Ancien Régime is always interesting and so of course the units that were part of the Maison du Roi.

I have the Mousquetaire du Roi from UE in 120 mm, also by Garry Higgins. Could just have stepped out of Richard Lester's 'The Four Musketeers'.

May be I should get that figure of you too............... :)

Cheers Paul
