Love the Achilles vignette!
I just watched the movie for the first time yesterday and I really liked it. Always thought it would be a nice vignette when Brad jumps and kills the big dude with one hit, although I would have placed him with the sword in the big dude, making the sword the anchor point for the guy in mid air.
Hello Daniel, already in lilliput has mentioned me this , doubtlessly needs to work more in rifle, shows rifle here to you that attempt to do:Originally posted by Dani A.@Jun 27 2005, 07:21 AM
Hola,
Regarding McQueen's rifle, I can not quite identify it. It does not look much like the one he carries in the movie, a Springfield '04; by its features, it resembles more of a Garand M1, although is is not that, either. What did you intend to model?

Thanks Dan, actually I think the tifle in the last springfield pic it´s OK for the figure... What do yo think?Originally posted by Dan Morton@Jun 27 2005, 07:15 PM
Alex - I can e-mail you about half a dozen other shots of Springfields, if you can use them. Just e-mail me offline if you want them, OK? There were at least two types of slings used - WWI - a canvas one with two sets of adjacent holes, brass grommets and buckle and a later one, very substantially made of thick reddish leather, single set of holes, brass grommets and buckle, etc. I've also seen this one with steel fittings, not brass. Don't know if that was original or not.
The McQueen pic shows the leather one.
Khuda is complete. Lt. Gen Skoboleff is about ready for primer. Your opinions of both Khuda and Lt. Gen. Skoboleff would be appreciated. See my vBench.
all the best,
Dan

Yes - It looks right. Do you have enough views to sculpt it? I always try to find photos from several angles.
all the best,
