Although logged in as my daughter, she's not with me again until Wednesday, she has done some more work on her horse for the Airfix 1/12th Bengal Lancer. We took these on Saturday when she was with me and wanted me to put them on the planet. No doubt, when she's next with me, she'll post some words herself.

She has now done the shading, highlighting and has started to dry brush the main, tail and forlock, as well as painting the socks and star.

I'm biased as you'd expect, but I am gob smacked at her ability, considering she is only 7 years old!!.

She's so very pleased with how it's progressing and really can't wait to see if any body has responded to her posts, so thanks guys for looking and posting, you make a young girl extremley happy.

Thanks and as Charlotte would say:

"See ya wouldn't wanna be ya!"

Hi Charlotte
Great work, make sure you finish it and let us see pictures of it Also make sure dad takes you to a model show and enter it in a junior competition
Keep those brushes busy, as you would say "Cool"
Cheers
John (Normo)

You're doing a great job Charlotte. As John said it would be nice if you enter it in a junior competition. I'm sure you'll do fine with it

Lottie, you've got us all a bit worried now you know. We're all thinking that if you're THIS good now........then you'll be winning all the competitions in years to come. Please go easy on us and give the rest a chance!

We've all really enjoyed seeing your horse and can't wait to see when it's finished so promise you'll let us see it when it's done. ;)

A very good start to an ambitious project. As mentioned, it was one of Airfix's best figure kits, and that should help you when it comes to some of the detailed areas.
If you meet with any problems that your Dad can't solve, then I'm sure the guys and gals here will offer help if you post a question.
Very good Lottie, I look forward to seeing more pictures.
Adrian
