This is my firs in a big scale and my first in over 10 years. Have been working on warhammer figurs my younger days but never on 120mm figures. But i'm rather pleased whit this first attempt. So what do you guys think?inhttp://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i222/Stevepeve/IMG_2374.jpg

Nicely precise Stefan. Everything is where it should be. The eyes would benefit from including the upper lash to reduce the staring effect. This is just a black or dark brown line where the lash would go. The lower lash is also important and is usually a marginally lighter shade of brown. These additions will significantly improve the face. Go through the galleries here and look at what others do with this. You are well on your way!

Very nice work. If you change the eyes as Steve said, its gonna look directly alot better. The eyes are the first thing people look at. So they must be the best part of the face. There starts the life of the figure.
But you are on the right track.

Very crisp detail, good shading, overall a good start. I agree with the above comments on the eyes and if I might also add... maybe a little more shading on the face to define the features a bit more and maybe a little weathering on the greatcoat, at least some dirt around the bottom:)
Beyond these little things, it was a great effort. Each figure will improve from the one before. This is a great resource of talented artists who are more than happy to help. I've only been here for less than 6 months and have learned more than I had in 20 years of painting on my own.

Keep up the good work, look forward to your next post

Colin
