It looks very good Quang; the baby's face is superb, and the textures outstanding.

Will it be part of a bigger project? Something new for Euro? (I hope)

Rob

Lets try this again.....3rd time attempting to post to here.

Looking great Quang..........I am especially looking forward to seeing this develop.......and my paint brushes eagerly await your next release

Superbe! Quang, ta création sort de l'ordinaire. Une idée originale et une belle sculpture.

Thank you, guys, for your interest. ;)

The baby is a part of our Euro-Militaire release which doubles as our 10th anniversary commemorative figure.

I still have some sculpting to do BUT I hope to have some pre-production castings ready for the show. Unfortunately, I won't have the time to do the painting which on this case would make up for at least 80% of the interest of the figure.

As for the subject, I cannot tell you anything until I'm done with the sculpting (silly superstition!). But speculation is welcome, of course!

Gotta go back to the putty. Cheers!

Hello Quang,

Very nice and refreshing subject.

May I know how you did the texture or was it a fabric that you used? Looking forward to the rest.

regards :)

Weelll i surely like this one as i am hunting all your 120 mm;s and busts . I hoep this one comes along with a mounted mother !!! Would be grate for a 120 mm vigniette. Expecting with huge agony !!!!!
Nice baby face also

Well done for surviving 10 years!

Hope to see something of this figure at Euro, even if it's not for sale!

:)

Rob: I hope to have some pre-production kits for those who cannot wait ;) Box label and assorted paperwork will be sent afterwards when they're ready. (You'll NEED the instruction sheet IMHO)

Costas: Sometimes wishing and hoping can bring good results ;)

Wong: I collect textures I find interesting. I make quick imprints with alginate (used in dentistry) and transposed them to the fresh putty. HTH

Gary: Here comes the mummy :)

Mmmmmm, if that's the case, you better keep sculpting! ;)

Very intrigued.........

Looking forward to Euro more and more!

:) :)

Quang! Beautiful!

You earlier Little wing has always been a favourite, and loved the version i'd seen with the cradle that i believed you sold at a Euro before I became a regular.

This looks like it's going to fill that gap! Perfect for a 10th anniversary piece.

Definately just moved into the 'can't wait' category!

However.....be happy with her yourself before releasing...

Thanks for not resisting

Rob

Quang, That was sooooooooo bad. I really like the "mommy" not "Mummy". I'm sure the outfit she is wearing will paint up nice.~Gary

They are ELK teeth (131 of 'em on the figure :( ).

Here's another part I've just finished: the shield.

Just one week to go.
